Your covenant is the wind beneath your wings, so you’ll need to prove your utmost loyalty to them by earning Renown Level 44 prior to lift off. Read on to see what you can do right now to ensure you hit the ground running so you can start soaring in Chains of Domination. This consumable item allows all characters on your account with Expert Riding Skill to fly in Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth! Upon completing a quest contained within the "The Last Sigil" storyline, you’ll be rewarded with Memories of Sunless Skies. Characters that do not have Expert Riding Skill will still need to purchase it.Įarn your wings and a special covenant-themed mount in the next major content update, Chains of Domination! Instead of challenging you with a Pathfinder achievement like in previous expansions, you’ll instead earn flying in Shadowlands early on within the newest chapters of your covenant campaign.
Updated June 10: The description for Memories of Sunless Skies has been revised to clarify that players with Expert Riding Skill can fly in Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth. Players will still be able to earn their wings as early as the second week of the content update.
Updated June 25: The description of which storyline chapter players earn flying in has been updated to reflect the separation of the Covenant Campaign and the Chains of Domination Campaign storylines
